During the development of the webshop of Darkest Desire brand we used WordPress as a CMS and Woocommerce plugin for webshop functionality. Darkest Desire brand sells quality and luxury dark chocolates.

- Cash On Delivery
- Wire Transfer
- Coinbase, Monero gateway
In this project we needed to customize the storefront and the webdesign as well.
We had to implement newsletter signup also, where we used the Sendy plugins and services.
Neve theme is used for the webshop.
We use SiteKit for showing Google Analytics data and for cpnnecting the webshop to Google services (Ads, Merchant, Search Console).
For greater conversion rate the webshop uses these plugins:
- PW Gift Card
- Woo Free Gift
- Woo Rewards
- WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery
We also setup HuCommerce for customization, Wordfence for higher security, LocoTranslate for localization.
Since the products and users in the webshop is synchronized with another one, we had to use Stock Sync for WooCommerce and WP Remote Users Sync plugins.
WP Mail SMTP plugin is used to deliver transactional emails, it is connected to an AWS SES service.
We used WP Affiliate Manager plugin to handle affiliate partners of the webshop.
The biggest challange was to improve site performance. We achieved a 94% score from Google Pagespeed tool by using Redis for object caching and Nitro Pack for other optimizations and caching.
